HTC to introduce new flagship phone? M7?

HTC is having a bad year. After the little success of its very good HTC One X due to the enormous success of the Galaxy S3, HTC is looking for a new flagship device.
The HTC Droid DNA maybe a good one, but their next 5 inch phablet the M7 may as well be a great phone. Based on the Droid DNA, the rumored M7 will have a huge 5 inch screen with a display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels powered by a quad-core processor.
Other detailed specs are not readily available but the M7 should also feature an amazing 13 megapixel camera. Now that’s some serious megapixel on a portable phone.

HTC is hoping that the M7 should sell 4-5 million units in the first quarter of 2013 alone. To do so, HTC should really introduce the M7 during the 2013 CES show this January. Otherwise, the next big event should be the 2013 Mobile World Congress (MWC). We’ll see which one of these two events will have the privilege of introducing this new exciting phablet. I must say that I am starting to appreciate more and more those big phones now. I mean once you have one and use one, you’re done, there is no turning back to a “small” screen size phone. Don’t you think?
