Archos announced the introduction of a new 8-inch tablet, the Archos 80 Cobalt.
The Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor with a quadcore GPU. It will have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage expandable via a microSDHD card.
Camera wise, the tablet will have two camera, a 2 megapixel camera in the rear and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Other than that, Archos did not revealed much yet about this tablet.
Price and availability have yet to be announced by Archos. Hopefully it will be affordable as prices of tablet are dropping very fast since the introduction of Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Google’s Nexus 7.
