Verizon is preparing to launch on Sept 29, the long awaited “women” phone from HTC Rhyme (aka Bliss).
This Android phone was originally leaked earlier this year as a phone for women and it still is a little bit. I mean colorwise. The Rhyme will be available in three different colors, even though Verizon will only carry one. The colors are, Clearwater, Hourglass and Plum. The latter color being carried by Verizon.
The HTC Rhyme will focus more on style and design rather than power. The specs for this phone are still reasonable as the Rhyme will be powered by a 1GHz processor and will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Rhyme will feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen, with two camera for video conferences.
As previously shown, the HTC Rhyme will feature a few accessories including a docking station and a glowing Charm. The purpose of the glowing charm is to notify incoming/ missed calls and messages as well as for decorative purposes.
The HTC Rhyme will be available for $199.99 starting Sept. 29 on Verizon Wireless exclusively in the US. The phone is set to launch globally by november.
