Alright! After successfully being able to dual-boot HP’s TouchPad, Team TouchDroid did it again. This time, Team TouchDroid was able to get the HP TouchPad touchscreen to work. Sounds obvious, but since nothing is mapped when porting Android to the TouchDroid, this represents a big step towards successful Android porting onto the TouchDroid.
In the video below, you’ll see an HP TouchPad running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with a functional touchscreen. you’ll notice that the touchscreen also supports multi-touch – up to 10 fingers in the video.
At this rate, we can be sure to have an Android tablet on the TouchPad very soon! Way to go Team TouchDroid!
