Running Android apps on the iPad a dream? Thanks to Myriad with Alien Dalvik 2.0 its becoming a reality

Have you ever wanted to run an Android app on another device? Thanks to Myriad, it will now be possible to run Android apps on the iPad.

Myriad is known for porting Android apps onto non-Android devices, such as porting Android on MeeGo. This time, the company is preparing to port Android apps on the Apple’s iPad with the release of Alien Dalvik 2.0.

The most impressive part in all this, is that most ported apps require no tweaking from the user side and work flawlessly. The app works just as well and as fast on a ported device, without the user noticing anything.

The Alien Dalvik 2.0 app, is opening a new set of doors for Android developers whose audience just got bigger thanks to Myriad. Developers can just focus on creating Android apps with the confidence that their app will work just as well on any other non-Android device. Now that’s awesome.

Alien Dalvik 2.0 is not available yet, but Myriad is scheduled to show a demo during the 2011 CTIA convention on October 11.
