Orange and Lookout team up to protect Android users.

One of the biggest problem the Android world has been facing since its introduction is the constant threat of malwares. In order to protect it’s mobile users, Orange Network is planning to install Lookout’s Mobile Security application on select Android tablet and smartphones starting from 2013.

The Lookout software will be available in two versions, the free version and the premium version usually combined with a bundle. The Lookout software will scan apps, visited websites, analyse all files and attachments and can even locate lost or stolen devices.
Orange is estimating that this service will help protect millions of users in its first year starting in France where the service will first start. The Lookout Orange service will then expand to Spain and the UK.
With this software protection, Orange is trying to stand out from other network competitors by protecting its user base.
