Ever wanted a Google Android phone but could not let go of Apple’s Iphone trendy design? Gooapple is your answer.
Gooapple is the conjunction of Google and Apple, which is exactly what their device is.
The Gooapple handset is an Iphone 4 exact replica, from the look to the size, the Gooapple is just like an Iphone 4. Its so identical that all accessories made for the Iphone 4 will fit exactly on the Gooapple.
The Gooapple runs on a Qualcomm processor and features like the Iphone 4 a 3.5-inch touchscreen. It has a 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and GPS.
When you turn the phone on, you would think that the Gooapple runs iOS. Wrong, the Gooapple runs Android 2.2 Froyo overlayed by Gooapple UI that makes the Gooapple handset looks like its running Apple’s iOS.
So the Gooapple team not only replicated the Iphone 4 looks physically, but also in terms of software with a reproduction of Apple’s iOS over the Android OS.
Personally I would have preferred to leave it as a stock Android. If I buy an Android I would like to see an Android, if I were to copy Apple’s Iphone to that extent, then I would just get an Iphone.
Overall, the Gooapple is probably the best Apple Iphone 4 copy with Android. Gooapple even have their own Android app store for you to download apps. Just beware if you get any app from China, as a lot of malware have come from Chinese app store.
No date of release and availability have been released. I highly doubt that you’ll be able to find this phone outside of China thought.
