Sony’s Android tablet, is now available in Australia. The 9.4-inch tablet by Sony known as the S Tablet is available in two models, a 16GB and 32GB version.
The S tablet is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and is running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS for the moment. Hopefully an update to Google’s latest OS Ice Cream Sandwich should be available. The Sony Tablet S is a PlayStation certified device providing you access to Sony’s PlayStation Store where you can play PlayStation games.
The Sony Tablet S has front and rear facing cameras and comes with a USB port and an SD card port. Only a Wi-Fi model of the Sony Tablet S is available for now, with the 3G version coming up early next year.
The Sony Tablet S retails for $579 for the 16GB version and $689 for the 32GB version.
