Unbelievable but true, it seems according from a report from the Wall Street Journal that the long awaited Samsung Galaxy S2 will not be distributed on Verizon.
Despite previous rumors that the Samsung Galaxy will be available on the Verizon Wireless network under the Samsung Galaxy Function name, it seems like its not going to happen anymore. Previously, all 4 major carrier, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon were reported to sell the million selling Samsung phone.
Why did Verizon Wireless dropped out the phone? Could it be because of something bigger coming out? or is it just not to introduce competition against the upcoming iPhone 5 and focus more on a few phones? According to Verizon, their Android line-up is excellent and they do not need the Samsung Galaxy S2.
Not sure about that, pretty disappointing if you ask me. I hope they really do have something bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S2.
