The Toshiba Thrive tablet will be available for pre-order in Australia starting June 13.
The Thrive is a 10.1-inch tablet running on a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It will be available with internal storage up to 32GB depending on the version you choose.
The best part in this tablet is that it will run the latest Android OS dedicated for tablets, Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
Connectivity for this tablet includes full-size HDMI port, full-size USB port, SD-card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS sensor.
It is now becoming a standard and the Toshiba Thrive is no exception, featuring dual cameras, with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
The Toshiba Thrive comes with a replaceable back cover available in a variety of colors, blue, green, pink, white and yellow. Underneath this cover you’ll find a replaceable Lithium-ion battery.
The Toshiba tablet will be available at the starting price of $429. The Thrive will come with many options such as additional six-cell batteries for $79.95, or a multimedia dock station with HDMI, USB ports and speakers for $89.95.
