Acer just got on the Android wagon with their latest cellphone – Liquid. The Liquid is a sleek looking cellphone, running on a 768MHz Snapdragon processor with some great features such as Wi-Fi, 5 megapixel camera, HDSPA, 3G, bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack among other features.
Rogers signed a deal with Acer by becoming the first retailer in North America to provide the Acer Liquid. Pricing has not yet been revealed but will surely be announced before launch day.
A few downpoints this phone have is a poor battery life (on average two days with minimal call/ usage), no flash, and probably the biggest for now, is that it runs android 1.6. The latter can be corrected/ updated to the latest version by the user himself. Overall a great first phone for a company which usually specializes in computers. The Android world just became more competitive.
