ZTE expanding its line of affordable Android with Blade C aka V889S

ZTE is coming up with it’s line-up of affordable device with the introduction of the Blade C. This Android device comes with a 4 inch touchscreen and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.

Impressively, the Blade C will be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Now is it powerful enough to run Jelly Bean? Apparently so, as the Blade C already exists in China as the ZTE V889S. The idea behind this affordable phone is to capture as much market share as possible with a relatively good Android device available to the mass. This is exactly what the Blade C is doing. At a retail price of around $110, its hard to beat. Hopefully apps will run smoothly on this phone as this will be the main breakpoint barrier for this phone to succeed.

The Blade C comes with a simple 3 megapixel camera, with 3G support and Bluetooth 4.0.
The ZTE phone is already available in China and an European release should be imminent. In terms of an America release its another story as nothing has been disclosed for now.
