The introduction of Amazon tablets complements Amazon’s strategic Android move. Amazon is already very well established in terms of E-books readers with the Kindle. Amazon have everything in place to be a successful in the Android world.
Especially if these prices are true. Amazon could become a very serious contender in grabbing some market shares from Apple’s Ipad.

These Amazon Android tablets price are very competitive, not only within other Android tablets such as the newly released HTC Flyer ($499) but the Motorola Xoom ($599) and Apple’s cheapest version of the Ipad 2 ($499).
