It seems like the Sharp RW-T107 may not be the only NFC tablet. TazTag just announced the TazPad tablet with NFC functionality.
The TazPad is a 7-inch tablet running Android and powered by a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of ROM. Memory is expandable via micro SD card up to 32GB.
The TazPad features common options to all tablets such as camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and accelerometer. Of course, the TazPad features NFC, but one feature that makes it stand apart is its biometric scanner. The TazTag’s TazTap combines NFC with a biometric fingerprint scanner. To approve transactions, you’ll just have to scan your finger. Finally, the day when you absolutely have to remember your passwords are over.
