Velocity Micro is joining other manufacturers with the introduction of two very affordable Android tablet, the Cruz 408 and 410.
The difference between the two? The Cruz T408 is an 8-inch tablet, whereas the T410 is a 10-inch tablet. Both tablets are powered by a 1GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM. The Cruz tablets will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will have access to Amazon Appstore. The tablets will be Flash compatible and can be used as e-book reader.
Add to this a front facing camera, Wi-Fi capabilities and a low price of $239.99 for the T408 and $299.99 for the T410 and you’ve got yourself a pretty decent Android tablet.
The Cruze tablets will be released by the end of the month, in September. With specs and price similar to the Amazon tablet, the Micro Velocity Cruz is preparing the field for affordable tablets. Thanks to HP TouchPad …
