Acer and Ferrari teamed up during the IFA show last week to unveil an Android smartphone – the Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari Edition.
This special edition of the Acer Liquid Mini is completely customized with Ferrari. From the outside red Ferrari casing with the Ferrari logo, to Ferrari engine sounds, Ferrari wallpapers and even a customized Ferrari user interface.
This Ferrari edition features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, and is powered by a 600MHz processor. By all means, the Acer Liquid is not the fastest phone on the market, but the Ferrari customization still makes it a nice phone. Memory wise, the Acer will have 512MB of RAM and the memory is expandable via microSD card up to 8GB. At least, it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Acer Ferrari will come with a 5 megapixel camera. which is capable of recording at a resolution of 480p, 512MB RAM, and 8GB microSD card.
The Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari will be available with a Ferrari bluetooth headset and will be sold as a bundle. Price and availability have not been disclosed yet.
