Barnes & Nobles updated their e-reader application – Nook to support larger screens from Android tablets.
Previously, the Nook app was optimized for Android phone, but with the increasing number of Android tablets, Barnes & Nobles readjusted the Nook app.

Nook will work perfectly on any tablet with 7-inches screen and more, hence Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy tablets are perfect candidates.

In addition, the latest Nook app lets you subscribe to over 140 different newspapers and magazines, available directly on your Nook reader. Improvements have been made on the interface, which is now similar to the Nook Color eReader.

The app is free and you can get it directly from the Android Market place or from any other independant app stores such as GetJar.
