HP 7 Plus first quad-core tablet available for 99$

In need of a cheap tablet? How about a 7-inch tablet from HP? No, we’re not talking about the famous HP TouchPad which saw its price go down as low as 99$ during its firesale a few years ago, but rather about the HP 7 Plus.

This new tablet in Europe is now available in the USA for a mere 99$. That’s the lowest price on the market right now a quad-core tablet. So how good is it? Well as they say, you get what you pay for. Its not the fastest tablet, but I believe that it works fine as a secondary tablet or if you just want to get an affordable tablet for the kids.

The HP 7 Plus features a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The Hp 7 Plus is powered by four 1GHz core running with 1GB of SDRAM. The nice thing about this tablet is the presence of a microSD slot providing you with extra storage space on top of the default 8GB ROM.

The HP 7 Plus runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. On top of this, there is a 2 megapixel rear camera as well as a 0.3 megapixel front camera. Not the best one, but the for the price, it’ll work just fine. The 2800 mAh battery will provide you with around five hours of work time.

All in all, the HP 7 Plus is a great little tablet at an affordable price that you can easily bring everywhere you go. If you’re not looking for the fanciest tablet, the Hp 7 Plus should perfectly do the job.
