Samsung Canada has some good news for owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3. The official update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be available starting Monday December 3rd.
The big question is, which carrier will have it first and when they will release it. I suppose this should be out in the coming few days and pretty much everyone from Bell, to Rogers and Telus should start to roll out this update.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will make an amazing phone even better, from enhanced camera functions, to improve contacts management, to face unlock capability. Can’t wait for that update, and for those who didn’t waited and already rooted their device to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, well you might as well just stick with your root version. Not only you already have the latest and greatest, and you wouldn’t want to go back and forth between a root and stock version.
