Sony to introduce new Android tablet this fall

According to XDA, Sony is preparing a new Android tablet. The follow up tablet to last year’s P and S tablet, will feature a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 with a 9.4-inch anti-fingerprint coating touchscreen. This new tablet looks like a slimmer version of the S Tablet and will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The unnamed tablet will have a 1 megapixel front facing camera along with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera. The new Sony tablet will have a few new interesting feature such as multi-port, multi-user and an integrated keyboard.

The multi-port feature, will have USB and HDMI ports all in one proprietary connector.

The multi user feature will allow the tablet owner to share the Sony tablet to guests without compromising the owners data.

Guests will be able to use the tablet under a guest account just like we do on computers.
The integrated keyboard is very similar to the recently introduced Microsoft’s tablet keyboard. Very slim and light, the Sony keyboard will also serve as a cover to protect the tablet when not in use.
