VMware virtual Windows desktop on your Android tablet

VMware introduced a new app that lets you control your Windows computer directly from your Android tablet. This virtual Windows desktop allows you to remote control your computer from anywhere you have an internet connection.

A similar app is already available for the iPad, and VMware is now introducing it to Android tablets as well as the upcoming Cisco Cius tablet.

Vmware

The program is very easy to use, from a click on your Android tablet, just launch VMware. A virtual desktop of your windows computer will appear along with a virtual trackpad. You can access and do anything you would do on your computer directly from this virtual windows screen. The Android control keys remain accessible at the bottom of the screen in case you want To go back to your original Android desktop.

The VMware app is available directly from the Android Market and requires Android 2.2 Froyo and up. This version works for Android tablets as well as the Cisco Cius tablet.

Pretty useful app for businesses, as Android tablets are good, but sometimes nothing beats good old windows laptop, especially for businesses.
