HTC Wildfire S and HTC Desire S coming to Telstra on May 25

Australian Wireless carrier Telstra is set to release two new HTC handset this month.

The HTC Wildfire S and HTC Desire S are due to launch on May 25, just a day before the anticipated release of Samsung’s Galaxy S2 on May 26.

HTC Wildfire S

The HTC Wildfire S is a single core budget phone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The HTC Wildfire S features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, running on a 600 MHz Qualcomm processor, with 512MB of RAM and ROM. This handset comes with a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash.

HTC-Desire-S

The HTC Desire S is a single core high end smartphone loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Desire S will feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, running on a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, with 768 MB RAM and 1.1 GB of internal storage. This handset comes with a 5-megapixel camera and with 720p HD video recording ability.

At the moment no pricing is available but we can speculate that Telstra could offer both the HTC Desire S and Wildfire S for $0 with a new two year contract. More details to come on May 25.
