The HTC Incredible S is finally available in India. First introduced during the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, this high end device will feature a 4-inch Super LCD touch screen.
Android Froyo 2.2 will be available at launch time but HTC is already preapring an update for Android Gingerbread 2.3 to accommodate HTC’s Sense user interface. The Incredible S will be powered by a 1 Ghz Qualcomm processor, have a 1GB internal memory along with 768MB RAM. The external memory can be extended up to 32 GB through micro SD, micro SDHC and the device will launch with an 8GB memory card as a promotion.
In terms of pictures ability, the HTC Incredible S will have an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, a very rare feature, plus HD video recording capability. Video calling will be possible thanks to the 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Bluetooth, DLNA, 3G, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi are common standard on new devices and will be no exception to the Incredible S.
The Incredible S will also act as a multimedia device, with FM radio, music player and video player. You’ll be able to listen to all these features via the standard 3.5mm audio jack.
The HTC Incredible S is now available accross India for Rs. 28,900 ( $650.00 USD).
